I prefer a drop point but a clip point will do in a "pinch" Plus the sheath looks a lot nicer than the one that came with the Field Knife. As a fighting knife, well I have my doubts as it being chosen by the troops, but really, who wants to fight with a knife. And using this knife for opening cans, trenching, prying would be a total waste. Looks like a nice replacement for the SOG X-42 Field Knife.
