I understand the basics of patent law, but when a Chinese eBayer is involved, that country doesn't exactly have a sterling track record of protecting intellectual property. Regardless, those of us who collect and enjoy quality knives won't be taken in by the fakes. Over on knifeforums, there are enough 'experts' to reveal these criminal sellers for what they are.
