Robbie Roberson finds some alternative uses of the lock hole in the Revolver!

Thursday, June 9th, 2011

Robbie Roberson, inventor of the Revolver knife design, sent us an interesting message about some alternative uses of the lock hole in the Revolver. From Robbie:

“What are the odds of capturing a white cow and her calf 100+ yards away through a 1/4 inch hole in my knife blade, and having it be in perfect focus? …these are real photos, not fabricated in any way. Sometimes we need a little nudge- The SOG SEAL Revolver knife is ready for the task.”

Sometimes we need a little nudge.

Check out some more photos of the Revolver that Robbie sent us.

Flash II Review

Friday, October 15th, 2010

Just came across this review of the Flash II on Backpack Gear Test. It is from a little over a year ago but all of the information is still valid.

Once again if you are thinking about the Flash II it is a great knife and you can’t go wrong with it.

Powerlock Reviewed on ToolSkool.com

Tuesday, September 7th, 2010

Here’s a nice customer review of the S60 SOG Powerlock:

I’ve always been a Leatherman guy, to tell the truth. So when I took a look at the latest offering from SOG, I had to make a conscious effort to clear my mind of any bias. With that said, I was more than impressed with the feel and usability of the tool.

Review of the Swedge II

Thursday, August 19th, 2010
BH-02 Review

The team here at SOG loves getting positive feedback- and we also love sharing it with all of you! Below we’ve included a review of the Swedge II by freelance writer and reviewer Sal Palma. Here’s an excerpt:

“The Swedge is an interesting design and unique in that it breaks the mold for most fixed blade designs. I couldn’t call it a fighting knife or a survival knife – so let us refer to it as a utility knife, or every day carry (EDC) design – with fangs.”
